Nutrition and dietetics profoundly affect human health. Even small changes to our eating habits can contribute to the prevention of several health issues and chronic conditions.

At Samford, the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics has prepared students for more than 100 years to become experts in the field, and our alumni are employed in diverse areas, including hospitals, clinics, education, research, sports nutrition, corporate wellness program, community and public health settings.
