Cumberland School of Law's National Moot Court Team recently traveled to New York City to compete in the 31st annual Conrad B. Duberstein National Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition.
Cumberland was represented by Trent Mansfield and Macey Weeks who comprised one of the 52 teams invited to the competition. They advanced out of the preliminary rounds ranked in the top eight. Of the 104 students who competed, Mansfield received the Best Advocate Award and Weeks was one of four runners-up.
The team was coached by Bill Bensinger, J.D. ’03, who said, “Mr. Mansfield and Ms. Weeks bought into the process and put in long hours of work to achieve excellent results. They represented themselves and Cumberland with excellence.”
