The American Bar Association (ABA) has released a comprehensive data set on bar passage outcomes, including the ultimate bar passage rate for those who sat for the bar within two years after graduation. In the report, the ultimate bar pass rate for Samford University Cumberland School of Law’s class of 2020 was 97.2%, placing the school 31st in the nation among all ABA-approved law schools.
 
At 97.2%, Cumberland’s School of Law’s pass percentage was well above the national average which, according to the ABA report, was 91.44% for 2020 law school graduates.
 
Cumberland School of Law Dean Blake Hudson said, “Cumberland’s ultimate bar passage rate is a testament to our graduates’ perseverance. Those who suffer a setback after their initial attempt work hard to achieve bar passage within two years. We are proud of their resilience to achieve success.”
