National Trial Team members Tyler Flowers, Kazia Hale, Jayme Leadmon, Owen Mattox and Morgan Vardaman competed in The Verdict competition hosted by UCLA, Oct. 15-17, 2021.
The competition was the first of its kind in that the students were judged on the merits of the case by lay jurors.
The team finished the competition in third place after facing four other top eight teams. They were coached by Matt Woodham ’15 and Setara Foster ’14.
