As the summer 2020 term begins, the physical location of the Lucille Stewart Beeson Law Library remains closed due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, although the building is not open, it is important to remember that online law library resources are still available to Cumberland Law students and faculty. The following are a few of the ways that you can utilize those resources.
The Online Library is the law library’s collection of databases where you can find links to databases such as Bloomberg, HeinOnline, Lexis, Westlaw, and many others. (Access to the databases requires an appropriate username and password).
Consult Online Study Aids
Currently, Cumberland School of Law students have access to LexisNexis Study Aids, West Academic Study Aids, and the Wolters Kluwer Online Study Aid Library. (Some of the study aids may be available only on a temporary basis. Contact a Librarian to learn about any limitations on access).
Explore the Catalog
It is important to remember that some e-resources can be located through use of the online catalog. (In catalog search results, electronic resources are labeled with an “e” in a red circle).
