The Lucille S. Beeson Law Library will be closed indefinitely beginning at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, March 16 until further notice.
Patrons requiring access to retrieve personal items may do so between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. No other access is permitted and patrons may not remain in the law library longer than necessary to retrieve personal items.
A number of databases are available through the law library’s database page.
We will, of course, provide assistance to anyone needing help accessing those databases. All students and faculty should have their own logins for Westlaw and Lexis. Several other resources offer individual registration.
Many of the other databases, including HeinOnline, are accessible remotely through the university library’s proxy server. You will be prompted for your Samford user ID (the prefix of your Samford email address) and password.
West Academic provided the entire university community with access to their online study aids.
If there are other resources which are needed to which we or the university library do not currently subscribe, please do not hesitate to contact me and we will see what we can do.
Stay safe and we will be providing further information when available.
