Women and the Law (Peggy), a database from HeinOnline, contains over one million pages of works dedicated to exploring the role of women in society and the law. Named after Margaret (Peggy) Marmion, the mother of Hein’s CEO, the goal of the collection is to provide researchers with the ability to examine the progression of women’s roles and rights over the past 200 years. The database includes more than 3,200 fully searchable titles that cover the following topics: 

• Abortion

• Biographies

• Feminism and Legal Theory 

• Legal Rights and Suffrage

• Women and Education

• Women and Employment

• Women and Society

Within the collection, you will find numerous periodicals, bibliographies, scholarly articles, and government documents. In order to access the Women and the Law (Peggy) database, you must have a Samford username and password.
