HeinOnline’s Social Justice Suite is a collection of databases offered by Hein to its core American and international subscribers. The suite is, also, offered for free to the libraries of any other institutions that are interested in the suite’s materials. The Social Justice Suite consists of the following three databases:

The Civil Rights and Social Justice database consists of more than 650 titles from the United States Commission on Civil Rights, a collection of approximately 1,000 congressional hearings, almost 50 legislative histories, and much more.

In addition to Congressional Research Service reports, congressional hearings, and legislative histories, the database contains an extensive bibliography and links to external resources. Important titles include The Omnibus Anti-Crime Act: A Legislative History of the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994, The Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act: A Legislative History, and more.

This is a collection of essential legal materials related to slavery in the United States and English-speaking countries. It “includes every statute passed by every colony and state on slavery, every federal statute dealing with slavery, and all reported state and federal cases on slavery.” The database, also, includes books, papers, and much more.
