The Cumberland School of Law Environmental Law Speaker Series addresses current environmental and land use issues in metro Birmingham, Alabama statewide, and the American South. These events expose students to the issues as well as demonstrate the range of employment opportunities in these areas.
On February 27, speakers from local government and the Birmingham real estate community will discuss zoning and affordable housing challenges.
Cumberland School of Law students, and Samford students studying biology, geography, sociology and similar majors, as well as students in the Master of Science in Environmental Management are encouraged to attend.
