The Cumberland School of Law Environmental Law Speaker Series addresses current environmental and land use issues in metro Birmingham, Alabama statewide, and the American South. These events expose students to the issues as well as demonstrate the range of employment opportunities in these areas.
The January 9 event will feature Cumberland School of Law alumni working in these fields, with Dean Blake Hudson as the moderator. Audience questions will be solicited prior to the session.
Cumberland School of Law students, and Samford students studying biology, geography, sociology and similar majors, as well as students in the Master of Science in Environmental Management are encouraged to attend.
A brown bag lunch will be provided. No RSVP is necessary.
