Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law will host the 2026 Cordell Hull Speakers Forum titled “Perspectives on the Rule of Law: A View from State and International Supreme Courts”.

The event will bring together top judicial leaders a conversation on leadership, integrity and the evolving role of courts in shaping justice at state, national and international levels.

The panel will feature Chief Justice Sarah Stewart (Supreme Court of Alabama), Justice Evan Young (Supreme Court of Texas), President Benedikt Bogason (Supreme Court of Iceland), and Presiding Justice Sarah Warren (Supreme Court of Georgia).

Moderated by Cumberland School of Law Dean Blake Hudson, the forum offers students and guests a rare opportunity to hear firsthand insights from some of today’s most influential legal voices.

The annual Cordell Hull Speakers Forum fosters meaningful dialogue among students, faculty, and leaders in law and public service. It continues a legacy of distinguished speakers that has included U.S. presidents, Supreme Court justices, attorneys general, authors and advocates.
