Legal Interests

I am interested in civil litigation, particularly in the corporate law realm. I am very interested in product liability and professional liability matters.

Outside Interests/Hobbies

Being from the Gulf Coast area, my favorite activities are going to the beach or going out on the boat. In my free time, I enjoy golfing, going on walks with friends, and grabbing a good cup of coffee! I also love to cook and host, so football season, Thanksgiving, and Christmas are my favorite times of the year!

What do you think is the BEST thing about Cumberland?

The best thing about Cumberland is the support it gives students. The student body, faculty, and staff genuinely care about student success and building each other up. Being in a supportive environment is crucial for law school success.

Why did you choose Cumberland?

I chose Cumberland because I immediately knew I could thrive and be successful in its environment. Hearing accounts from other students, I was able to see myself at Cumberland. I was looking for a school that would support me through my academic and professional career, and I was looking for a perfect balance of an environment that both challenges and supports me. Cumberland checked all of my boxes, and I feel such a connection to this school.

What do you most enjoy about studying law in Birmingham? What do you like to do in Birmingham?

One of the best parts of studying law in Birmingham is being in an environment where you do not always feel like a student. Leaving my college town after graduation, I was seeking a new environment, and Birmingham provided just that. The food scene in Birmingham is incredible, and there are always events going on throughout the city. I love seeing concerts at Iron City and going out to dinner with friends. My favorite restaurants are Bamboo and Bistro 218! Also, Birmingham has the best coffee shops for studying- Honest Coffee in Edgewood is my go-to spot!

If you could give any advice to your pre-law school self, what would you say?

My advice would be to be confident. Do not be afraid to participate in class and ask questions. Also, do not be afraid to put yourself out there and join organizations and teams! Everything you do in law school will be so valuable in your future career.

What do you plan to do after graduation?

After graduation, I plan to practice law in Alabama (after taking the Bar, of course!).
