Android

1. Open Settings and tap Wireless & Networks.
2. Tap WiFi to enable it, if it is not already. Then tap WiFi Settings.
3. Tap Samford Users in the list of wireless networks.
4. A screen will open identifying the network. Scroll to the bottom.
5. Enter your Samford user name and password in the Identity field and click Connect.
6. You should now be connected and able to access the internet.

iOS

1. Open Settings and tap Wi-Fi.
2. Make sure Wi-Fi is set to On if it is not already.
3. Tap Samford Users in the list of wireless networks and choose Join. 
4. A window will open asking you to enter a password. Enter your Samford user name and password and tap Join.
5. A window labeled Certificate will appear. Tap Accept to accept the wireless certificate and join the network.
6. You should now be connected and able to access the internet.

MacOS

1. In the upper right-hand corner of your screen, click the Wi-Fi icon and turn Wi-Fi on if it is not already.
2. Select Samford Users from the list of available networks.
3. A new window will open asking for authentication. Enter your Samford username and password. Check the Remember this network box.
4. If prompted, enter your Mac log-in credentials to save the wireless network.
5. You should now be connected and able to access the internet.

Windows

1. In the lower right-hand corner of your screen, click the available wireless networks icon, which should resemble a series of bars.
2. Click Samford Users and choose Connect.
3. A Network Authentication window will open. Enter your Samford user name and password.
4. Choose Connect if a Windows security alert opens asking if you would like to Terminate or Connect.
5. You should now be connected to Samford Users and have full internet access.

Android

Wireless Network Instructions
for Gaming Consoles, Smart
TVs, and Smart Speakers

1. From your browser on your laptop go to
   wifi.samford.edu/mydevicesportal while connected to the Samford
   Users or Samford_IOT networks. Log in with your Samford
   username and password.
2. Click Add.
3. Enter a device name for your device(This can be whatever you
   would like). For example, Xbox, Echo-Dot, or Apple TV.
4. Enter the MAC address for your device in the text field (including
   the colons).
5. Add a description. (Not Required)
6. Click Submit
7. Go to your device that you just registered and select Samford_IOT
   from the list of wireless networks from the device.
