Academic Affairs
The provost at Samford University has responsibility, under the president, for the operation and improvement of all of the academic programs and academic support services of the university.
Advancement and Marketing
The division of advancement and marketing supports and promotes university endeavors in the areas of alumni engagement, estate planning, and charitable giving as well as marketing and public relations.
Enrollment Management
The division of enrollment management supports the recruitment, admission and retention of all Samford students through a collaborative effort to meet enrollment needs.
Finance, Business Affairs and Strategy
The division of business affairs and strategy oversees the accounting, financial services, dining, human resources, One Stop student financial services, the post office, printing services, purchasing and technology services.
General Counsel
The office of general counsel provides legal advice and representation to Samford University. In that capacity, the general counsel advises the Board of Trustees, the president, executive officers, administrators, faculty and staff on an array of legal issues that impact the university. Additionally, the general counsel provides a variety of legal services, undertakes various legal initiatives, supervises retained outside legal counsel, and generally coordinates legal services for Samford University.
Office of the President
As Samford’s 19th president, Beck A. Taylor is leading the university to remain vigilant in upholding the university’s timeless values while preparing students to engage with an ever-changing world and ensuring that all of Samford’s citizens are treated with love, dignity, and respect.
Student Affairs
The division of student affairs seeks to integrate living, learning and faith to prepare students for a life of Christian service, leadership and thoughtful engagement throughout the world.

The trustees include devoted men and women who provide support, counsel and direction for Samford University.
