Prior to coming to Samford, Wini was a Georgia Merit Scholar, Communication Chairperson of the Hands and Feet Service Academy, and Salutatorian of her class at Whitefield Academy. While in high school, she also served as captain of the Varsity Girls Basketball Team, a member of the Varsity Cross Country Team, and a Senior Mentor to incoming Freshmen. While attending Samford, Wini plans to study Business Management. After graduation Wini aspires to earn her Masters degree in Business and hopes to start and run her own business one day.
