Senior Fellows from the Samford University Center for Science and Religion will conduct a ten-week series of seminars on big questions in science and religion at Independent Presbyterian Church in Birmingham (http://ipc-usa.org/) beginning September 15. Sessions are from at 6:15-7:15 on Wednesday evenings and are open to the public.

September 15: What is the relationship between science and religion?
September 22: Where did we come from? (cosmology)
September 29: Where did we come from? (evolution)
October 6: Do we have free will? (cognitive and neuroscience)
October 13: Do we have free will? (chance and determinism)
October 20: What is the soul? (nature of consciousness)
October 27: What will it mean to be human? (transhumanism)
November 3: What will it mean to be human? (health and ethics)
November 10: Do miracles occur? (how God interacts with the world)
November 17: Does God exist? (natural theology and beyond)
