Dr. Steve Donaldson, a Senior Fellow at the Samford University Center for Science and Religion has been selected as one of twenty-five international participants in the Bridging the Two Cultures of Science and the Humanities project at the University of Oxford.
Scholars will study for a month during each summer of 2015 and 2016, attending seminars, participating in tutorials, and engaging in independent research. Donaldson's project is entitled Simulated Brains, Artificial Minds, and the Image of God. The grant also includes funding for a research assistant and implementation of a science and religion club at Samford.
