The Master of Social Work and Master of Public Health joint degree program utilizes a faith-informed approach that combines knowledge and skills from the fields of social work and public health to promote the health and well-being of individuals and communities. 

The Master of Social Work program prepares students to provide services to individuals, families, groups and communities, and it offers concentrations in clinical social work practice and global community development. 

The Master of Public Health program prepares students to promote population health by providing prevention services, investigating disease states, advocating for effective health care policy and developing large-scale health promotion programs.  Graduates of this joint degree program will be highly qualified to work in fields such as prevention, medical social work and health care policy advocacy
