Prof. A. Christson Adedoyin, MSW, MATS, PhD, is currently a Professor of Social Work in the Department of Social Work, School of Public Health at Samford University, Birmingham, Alabama. His research interests include Program Evaluation, Public Policy Analysis, Social Welfare Analysis, Integration of Faith and Learning (IFL), Spirituality in the Workplace, Social Entrepreneurship, Police-Community Relationships, Technology and Social Welfare Services Delivery and Faith-Based Interventions to address Socio-Economic and Health Disparities among African Americans, African Immigrants, and African Refugees. He currently serves as the grant program evaluator for three nationally funded research grants by U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). He is a recipient of the Annie E. Casey Foundation (AECF) Leaders in Equitable Evaluation and Diversity (LEEAD) Scholars Fellowship Program, and serves as a board member of local, national, and international non-profit and professional organizations. He a member of the American Evaluation Association (AEA) and the Council on Social Work Education to mention a few. He has presented at both national and international conferences in his areas of research interests and expertise.
