Prior to coming to Samford, Katie was a Beta Club member, National Honors Society President, member of Track and Field, and Restoration and Sustainability Club Leader. While in high school, she was heavily involved in ContainIt, a program that builds tiny houses and converts shipping containers into housing for those in need. Through her work in ContainIt, Katie found a passion for serving others which led her to join Micah Fellows. While attending Samford, Katie plans to study Business Management. After graduation, Katie aspires to earn her Master degree in Business Administration and then use her degrees to work with non-profit organizations or focus on project management.
