This virtual Consultant CE renewal course equips pharmacists with the latest clinical and regulatory updates in long-term care. Topics include diabetes management, antithrombotic therapy, and polypharmacy, with a focus on applying new guidelines to improve safety and outcomes for older adults.
This CPE activity is intended for all pharmacists or pharmacists already certified as consultant pharmacists by the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy (ALBOP) (note: completion of this activity will not provide initial
registration as a consultant pharmacist with ALBOP). It has been approved for total of four (4) Consultant CPE hours by ALBOP. The activity is accredited as live, knowledge-based CPE by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education
(ACPE) for 4 hours (0.4 CEUs) of CPE credit. Credit will be awarded to participants who attend the entire activity and completes all activity assessments. The CPE activity will be presented virtually via the Zoom conferencing platform.
