Jovanni-Rey de Pedro recently completed his first year as an assistant professor of Piano and Piano Pedagogy.  Known by students as "Dr. J,"  De Pedro has an international reputation as a soloist, collaborator, pedagogue, speaker, entrepreneur and philanthropist.

In the spring, he shared the stage with his students for the Elite Eighty-Eights, a piano showcase performance on ten elite pianos highlighting the launch of the School of the Arts' Elite Piano Program.
