Samford University's Center for Science and Religion will host a free interdenominational workshop Jan. 19 at First Baptist Church, Montgomery, for pastors and other interested in learning how faith and emerging science can enrich each other.
The 8:30 a.m.–12:15 p.m. event will include refreshments and lunch in addition to faculty-led discussions of important topics at the intersection of faith and science:
• The Seven Deadly Sins of Science and Religion
• Why do People Have Trouble with Evolution?
• Is There a Place for the Soul in a Physical Brain?
• Christianity and Science: The Key Issues
