The Samford University Classes of 1964, 1989 and 2004 will hold 50th, 25th and 10th year reunions during Homecoming this fall. Alumni and faculty who studied and taught at Samford’s London Study Centre, Daniel House, also will mark the 30th anniversary of the study-abroad centre at a reunion tea.
Homecoming is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, Oct. 31-Nov. 1, at Samford. To register for Homecoming, including all reunions, go to alumni.samford.edu/homecoming2014. All registrations for Homecoming are requested no later than Oct. 22.
The Class of 1964 Reunion will be Saturday, Nov. 1, at noon in the Wright Center Lobby. The Samford band and cheerleaders will perform for the group prior to its luncheon, beginning at 11 a.m.
The Class of 1989 Reunion will be Saturday, Nov. 1, at 7 p.m. at Todd English Pub in the Westin Hotel, 2221 Richard Arrington Blvd. in downtown Birmingham.
The Class of 2014 Reunion will be Saturday, Nov. 1, at 7 p.m. at The Summit Club, 1901 Sixth Avenue North in downtown Birmingham.
The Daniel House Reunion will be Friday, Oct. 31, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the home of Samford President and Mrs. Andrew Westmoreland, 1994 Shades Crest Road, Vestavia Hills. Parking will be available at the adjacent Crossroads Community Church.
Members of the 1989 and 2004 reunion classes and Daniel House alumni also will enjoy tailgating on the quad beginning at noon Homecoming Saturday.
