Ralph Gold, assistant professor in Samford University's Department of Kinesiology and Nutrition Science, recently presented at the Southern District Association of the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance convention Feb. 8-11 in Orlando, Fla.
Gold presented his research titled, "The Qualities of Physical Education Based Upon Students' Perceptions of Physical Appearance."
"The purpose of the study was to explore the possible disconnect between the message of the physical educator and the appearance of the messenger," said Gold.
Gold has taught at Samford for 19 years.
