Grammy-winning guitarist Earl Klugh and jazz guitarist Eric Essix will headline a Samford University jazz concert Saturday, June 4, at 7 p.m. in Brock Recital Hall. The event, sponsored by WVSU 91.1 in partnership with Hoover’s fifth annual Preserve Jazz Festival, will benefit the Rev. John T. Porter Minority Scholarship at Samford.
Tickets to the Prelude are $75, and include admission to the festival the following day. VIP tickets are available for $125, and include priority seating, festival admission and a reception with the artists following the Saturday night performance.
The Preserve Jazz Festival is Sunday, June 5, in Hoover. It will feature Klugh, Essix, Eric Darius and headliner Boney James.
