The Cumberland School of Law will host a seminar on Developments and Trends in Health Care Law Friday, September 23 at the Cahaba Grand Conference Center.
The event covers many topics and features nationally recognized experts. Topics include hospital-physician alignment strategies, accountable care organizations, fraud and abuse enforcement and HITECH.
A session for Attorney Ethics and Social Media is also scheduled. The Honorable John E. Ott, the United States District Court Magistrate Judge, from the Northern District of Alabama, leads that discussion.
Check-in and breakfast begins at 8 a.m. The day’s events end at 4:15 p.m.
Cumberland’s CLE programs provide education to practicing lawyers. The programs offer national and local experts in the specified area of law.
Friday’s meeting is the first of eleven for Cumberland’s CLE. All of the programs will be held in Birmingham, Al.
