Samford University's Beeson Divinity School will award 18 graduate degrees during Commencement and Consecration activity Wednesday, Dec. 3. The program will be at 11 a.m. in A. Gerow Hodges Chapel.
Dr. James Earl Massey, dean emeritus and distinguished professor-at-large, Anderson University School of Theology, will give the sermon, "The Lord Be With You."
Beeson graduate Daven Watkins, pastor of First Baptist church, Pleasant Grove, will offer the prayer of consecration.
During the school's traditional time of consecration, each Beeson faculty member will bless each graduate.
Degrees to be awarded include four Master of Theological Studies, 11 Master of Divinity and three Doctor of Ministry.
Commencement for all other Samford fall graduates will be held Saturday, Dec. 13, at 10 a.m. in Pete Hanna Center.
