"Understanding Your Adolescent: A Guide to the New Teenager" is the topic of a one-day course at Samford University Saturday, Oct. 2. The program is free to the public.
Instructor is Anthony Wolf, Ph.D., a clinical psychologist whose books for parents of teens include Get Out of My Life, But First Could You Drive Me and Cheryl to the Mall? A Guide to the New Teenager.
A popular lecturer and consultant, Dr. Wolf is in private practice in the Springfield, Mass., area.
A morning session for teachers and counselors will be held 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. An afternoon session for parents will be held 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. Both sessions will be in Brooks Hall auditorium.
The course is sponsored by Samford After Sundown community course programs, Grayson & Associates, P.C., and Lloyd Noland mental health services.
