Two Samford University students received top honors in college division competition at the Associated Press Alabama Broadcasters Association annual meeting recently.

Jared Shull of Franklin, Tenn., was named Best Feature Reporter.

Brad Radice of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., was named Best Sports Reporter.

Shull and Radice had been honored in March by the Southeast Journalism Conference as members of Samford's television news team that won first and second place awards in the best newscast category.

Shull was producer of the first-place newscast. He was also honored as "Best News Reporter" in television news.

Shull and Radice are staff members of the student-produced weekly Samford News Network newscast.
