Courteney Benjamin joined Samford University's Department of Kinesiology in 2020. She grew up in north Florida. Courteney is married to Amos Benjamin and they have two dogs, Remi and Wiktor. In her free time, Courteney enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to the beach, fishing, hunting, reading, and cooking. Her mission is to encourage others with a Jeremiah 17:8 life, “They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes: its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”
