Joelle joined the Marketing and Communication team in March 2022 as the executive assistant to the vice president. In July of 2024, she transitioned to the marketing and communication coordinator where she supports marketing and communication efforts across the university.

In 2019, she graduated from Mississippi College with a BS in Communications with an emphasis on Public Relations and Journalism. She completed a Master’s in Integrated Communication in May 2022 also from Mississippi College.

Prior to working at Samford, Joelle worked in the print industry where she managed organizational printing accounts from local organizations to organizations nationwide. During that time, she was able to guide organizations in all of their printing needs from annual reports and magazines, to business cards and other branded office supplies.

Joelle is originally from Meridian, Miss., but now resides in Chelsea with her goldendoodle, Piper.
