Daniel joined the Marketing and Communication Department in October 2022 as Web Marketing Coordinator. He graduated from Samford in 2015 with a BSBA in Marketing with a Sports Marketing Concentration. Daniel also completed a MA in Sport Management from the University of Alabama in 2016.
Prior to his return to Samford, Daniel was the Digital Marketing Manager at WorldSoccerShop, the second-largest e-commerce soccer retailer in the U.S. During this time, He managed the daily content for the social media accounts and developed and implemented new analytics-driven social media content strategy that focused on engaging multiple target markets with an authentic brand voice. He also worked directly with Adidas, Nike, and Puma to implement joint marketing strategies.
Daniel and his wife Carrie, a Samford University alumnus, live in Vestavia with their four kids.
