A native of Birmingham, Alabama, Kameron Brown began his career in marketing and communication at Auburn University, serving as the marketing assistant for the Office of Student Involvement. As a leader in student affairs, he served as president of the involvement ambassadors and on the communication board of the student government association. Additionally, he served as a peer instructor for academic affairs’ exploratory advising program, assisting students to find their way in college, declare majors and get involved on campus by joining clubs and organizations and building a healthy community.
In his role at Samford, he provides oversight for the marketing and communication operations for Orlean Beeson School of Education, the Office of Student Success and Diversity, the Office of Parent and Family Engagement, the SamfordGlobal Office and the University Library.
He regularly volunteers his time with the Shelby Baptist Association’s Church and Community Ministries, fighting food insecurity and coordinating and leading mission projects throughout Shelby County.
He lives in Columbiana and is a member of Southcrest Baptist Church.
