Jennifer Lackey serves as the Director of Samford Abroad and International Travel. This role includes assisting faculty in proposing and conducting abroad courses both internationally and domestically and any Samford student, faculty or staff member in traveling abroad for Samford related business.
Coming to Samford in 2014, Jennifer taught adjunct courses for several years before taking a position in the Abroad Office. She has had a passion for International Education since studying abroad in Bath, England as an undergraduate, finding subsequent ways to travel abroad to places including Ireland and Uruguay.
Jennifer graduated from Denison University with a B.S. in Psychology, Vanderbilt University with a M.S in Speech Language Pathology and Emory University with a M.A. in Film Studies. While her roles in education have shifted emphasis over the years, the underlying focus has always been on how we as God’s people communicate with one another in beautifully diverse ways.
