Zach Seanor joined the Samford University Advancement team in June 2024 as the Director of Donor Engagement. He is responsible for designing and implementing plans to acknowledge, recognize and communicate philanthropic impact to university donors.
He returns home to Samford after serving as Director of Mission Advancement with the Woman’s Missionary Union Foundation. Before his time at the WMU Foundation, Zach had the honor of serving alongside WMU as an elementary and secondary curriculum consultant and editor.
Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, he spent many of his formative years in the Greater Atlanta Area. Zach moved to Alabama to attend Samford University where he received a BS in Education. He went on to receive his Master of Divinity from Baylor University’s Truett Seminary and is an ordained minister.
Zach lives in Pelham with his wife, Haley, a hospital chaplain serving in the UAB Health System, and their son Thomas. They are active members of Crosscreek Baptist Church in Pelham.
