Michelle joined the University Advancement team in 2022 after serving as the Administrative Assistant in Samford’s Department of Physical Therapy for six years. She brings over 20 years of experience in office management, excelling in organization and implementing new processes. She has a passion for service and has enjoyed exemplifying Samford's mission by caring for each students' academic, professional, emotional, and spiritual success.
Just prior to joining the physical therapy team, Michelle and her husband along with two of their daughters served on the mission field in the Dominican Republic. For three years they networked and developed key relationships with local churches and Christians to further the advancement of the gospel and orphan care. Michelle has enjoyed continuing that passion for missions through service-learning opportunities with Physical Therapy students.
Michelle and her husband Jason are members of Grace Fellowship Church in Homewood, AL. Together they lead a home group and Jason serves as a Lay Elder. They reside in Hoover, AL and have 3 adult daughters and two young granddaughters.
