Kaity Fairburn joined Samford University in July 2024 as the Assistant Director of Data Reporting and Analytics. Born and raised in Colorado Springs, Kaity has always been passionate about sports and education. She played basketball and soccer for the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, where she earned her degree in Mathematics.

In 2022, Kaity moved to Birmingham with her husband, Stevan, who is currently in medical school. Embracing her interest in data, Kaity pursued further education and received a professional certificate from Google in data analytics in June 2024.

Before her current role at Samford University, Kaity made significant contributions to Helena High School as a high school math teacher, basketball coach, and soccer coach. Her diverse experiences and dedication to both academics and athletics have uniquely positioned her to excel in her new role at Samford University.
