The purpose for VPN is to allow specific Samford employees access to services and applications that are not accessible from off-campus (i.e. Banner 9). Access to VPN is granted based on a need. The person requesting access should have a need to work from home on a Samford resource that cannot be accessed without it. When possible, please consider using OneDrive if the need is for accessing files. If there is a need, please have your supervisor send an email to support@samford.edu stating who needs VPN and the reason for it.
