Katelyn Hayes is a native of north Alabama and a Samford alumna. She graduated in 2014 with a bachelor's in health sciences and minors in business and religion. She then went on to Emory University's Candler School of Theology where she focused her Master of Theological Studies research on the intersectionality of fait and health. Her work at Samford is informed by a near-decade of ministry and nonprofit work, alongside years of experience comforting and supporting students from elementary to graduate studies. Her passion for fostering holistic health led her back to Samford, where she works to bring awareness, education and engagement for wellness initiatives across campus.
