Equipping the Called is a six-month, self-paced, online leadership program specifically designed for clergy and lay leaders serving in rural and small-town churches. Grounded in systems thinking and theological insights, this program equips you with practical tools to nurture your spiritual formation, strengthen key relationships, and foster lasting community impact. Upon completion, participants may submit a proposal for funding, up to $3,000, to support their church’s efforts as an anchor institution within the community. More than one congregant may participate in the leadership program, but anchor institution mini-grants are limited to one per church.
The program opens September 1, 2025. Application deadline is August 15th. Priority will be given to applicants serving in rural and small-town churches. There is no cost to participants, but the course capacity is limited. To be considered for the program, apply by completing the interest form below.
