Cagan joined Samford staff in July of 2024. Cagan is the Coordinator of Facilities and will oversee all facilities associated with campus recreation. In his role, he is responsible for keeping up with all facility needs, and ensuring a safe environment for all guests.

Originally from Blacksburg, Virginia, Cagan has lived in six other states including Minnesota, Kentucky, lllionois, Alabama, Oregon, and Georgia. Cagan received his Bachelors degree from Wofford College, and in December of 2024 will be completing his masters degree from Samford Cumberland School of Law. While working towards his masters, Cagan has also worked as a Campus Recreation Supervisor the past two years.

Cagan has spent the past six years participating in intercollegiate athletics. He played cornerback on the football team at Wofford College, and also ran track & field for Samford. He enjoys bowling and hanging out with friends. Cagan is excited to stay a part of the Samford community!
