Kylie Pitt, a senior marketing major from Maryville, Tennessee, is an affiliate in the Samford Startup program. Through the program, she’s working to expand her business, Revenge The Label, which she launched in August 2021. 

Revenge The Label is a newly founded online clothing store for women of all ages, sizes, shapes, ethnicities and colors. Revenge seeks to give power back to women and help boost their confidence with a cute outfit. Through this business, I desire to meet new people, spread body positivity, and grow into a platform where women can come to feel empowered. 

Brock School of Business has been a foundation that has helped assure me of what I want to do post-graduation with my business. I've come in contact with numerous professors who genuinely want to see me succeed and encourage me to do what I love. I had one teacher who gave me a starting point when I launched this business last August.  Although I had just joined the incubator, I have high hopes in engaging, learning, and growing into a better entrepreneur. 

My vision for the future is to grow my online platform (mainly Instagram) and continue doing this post-graduation for five to 10 years fully online. In the next year, I plan to switch my website to a different platform that allows for more of my creativity and that is easier to manage. In addition, in the next five to 10 years I would also like to have my own app where people can shop. I would love to open a storefront after this time in my hometown. The final dream for my business is to grow into one where I can have my own manufacturer and have the clothes be designed by myself. I also would love to be worldwide and have numerous storefronts in different locations.
