David Yancey, a senior accounting major, started ListX in May 2020 when he realized he had a combined passion for photography and real estate.

Today, as a Samford Startup resident, Yancey is using the Brock School of Business program to focus on growing his business which provides marketing materials for realtors including photography, videography, 3D tours, and digital marketing services.

“Our products provide value by capturing your real estate listing in a way that puts its best foot forward,” Yancey said.

How has Brock School of Business and the Samford Startup program helped you launch your business?

The incubator gave me a space to focus on my work, and to collaborate with others in order to grow my business and launch it into the real world.  The speakers that I have heard through the program have given my valuable guidance and advice that I will use for the rest of my career.

Looking to the future, what do you envision for your business?

I hope to continue to grow my business during my last year at Samford, before moving into a managerial role as I graduate and work full time in accounting.
