Kristen Evans joined the Samford University advancement team in November 2022 as the advancement officer for Brock School of Business.

 

She comes to Samford after serving as associate director of development at Lakeshore Foundation. During her almost 10 years at Lakeshore, she was responsible for donor cultivation, developing and implementing annual fund and donor retention campaigns, and managing all fundraising and stewardship events.

 

Originally from Fairfax, Virginia, she moved to Alabama to attend The University of Alabama where she received a B.S. in Commerce and Business Administration. She went on to receive her Master of Public Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

 

She lives in Vestavia with her husband, Patrick, a Cumberland School of Law graduate, and their daughter and son. They attend Trinity United Methodist in Homewood.
