Samford’s minor in worship leadership is for students who aim to complement their particular area of study by developing practical tools, experience and theological foundations for Christian worship and its leadership. Electing a minor in worship leadership connects students with Samford’s worship community, including the Samford Worship Collective and Samford’s Center for Worship and the Arts, empowering them to hone their musical skills, dive into the theology of corporate worship and develop their abilities as ministry leaders.

We invite students to come to campus, engage with our faculty, attend classes or an ensemble rehearsal and learn more about studying music at Samford.
What can I do with this minor?
Students who complete the minor in worship leadership often find themselves as a more thoughtful worshiper. Other students find themselves as part-time, volunteer, or bi-vocational musicians and worship leaders.
