A Picturesque Campus
Samford University's 180-acre campus is located in Homewood, Alabama, a close suburb to Birmingham, the state's largest city. With more than 50 Georgian Colonial buildings, our campus is often called one of the most beautiful in America. The best way to understand the Samford experience is to visit our campus!
College of Health Sciences Facilities
Located on the east side of Samford's campus, the College of Health Sciences facilities are home to the School of Health Professions, Moffett & Sanders School of Nursing, McWhorter School of Pharmacy and School of Public Health. The facilities span more than 223,000 square feet of space across two buildings. Samford dedicated the facilities in fall 2016, providing students and faculty the opportunity to learn and work in an interprofessional environment.
A Vibrant Metropolitan Area
Campus is only minutes from the heart of Birmingham. This metropolitan area of about one million people is rich in history, and is home to major engineering companies, a nationally ranked medical center, a symphony orchestra, a Triple A baseball team, the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute and a myriad of other institutions and organizations that make it a thriving, modern city.
