Lisa joins Orlean Beeson School of Education this fall as an instructor in the doctoral program after 34 years in the K-12 education field.  She has served as an adjunct instructor, doctoral committee member, committee chair, and writing coach for the University of Montevallo and Samford University for more than 10 years. She will be teaching in the Educational Leadership program and working with doctoral students on the dissertation process.  Lisa earned bachelor's and master's degrees in Secondary Education - English Language Arts from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and holds Educational Specialist and Doctor of Education degrees in Educational Leadership from Samford University.  

Specialized skills include Franklin Covey's Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, 4MAT Instructional Design, Executive Coaching, and Instructional Coaching. Lisa is currently pursuing a certificate in Educational Research through the University of Illinois and an International Coaching Federation coaching certificate through Results Coaching Global.
