Dr. Chloe Chapman joined Samford University’s Moffett & Sanders School of Nursing in the fall of 2020. A Birmingham, Alabama, native raised in the Pratt City area, Chapman began her nursing career at UAB Hospital in 2011 in the Trauma and Burn Nursing Unit, where she remains a bedside nurse. She has also done travel nursing across the United States and previously worked as an adjunct clinical instructor at Jefferson State Community College. Chapman is a full-time clinical instructor for the Health Assessment, Foundations, and Adult Health courses.

Passionate about her career, Chapman believes becoming a nurse was her calling. She enjoys teaching and mentoring future nurses and values meaningful connections with her students. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and “doing nothing.” Her life motto could be summed up by the song “If I Can Help Somebody,” written by Alma Bazel Androzzo.
