Biography

Following graduation from nursing school, Amanda Barron began her career as a bedside oncology nurse. Since that time, she has worked in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings, including critical care and outpatient oncology. It was during her time as a staff nurse, she discovered a passion for teaching nursing students. Since beginning her career at the Moffett & Sanders School of Nursing, she has taught a variety of courses and enjoys working with students at all levels in the program. She states, “I am blessed with the opportunity to combine my love for nursing and passion for teaching students in a Christian environment. There is truly nothing better than guiding and encouraging the next generation of nurses.”
